At Universal Basic Website, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can permanently delete your account, your website, and all associated information at any time. This process is irreversible.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
You can permanently delete your data using the self-service option in your user dashboard.
- Log In: Go to
http://universalbasicwebsite.com and log in to your account.
- Navigate to Dashboard: Once logged in, go to your main account Dashboard or Profile Settings page.
- Find the Deletion Section: Look for a section titled "Account Management" or "Danger Zone."
- Initiate Deletion: Click the "Delete Account and Website" button.
- Confirm Deletion: A confirmation prompt will appear to prevent accidental deletion. You will be required to type the word
DELETE into a text field and click a final confirmation button.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
- Immediate Action: Your public website will be taken offline immediately. You will be logged out, and your account will no longer be accessible.
- Permanent Deletion: All of your personal information, business profile data, and website content (images, text, etc.) will be permanently deleted from our live databases.
- Backup Data: For disaster recovery purposes, your data may remain in our secure, encrypted backups for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) before being permanently erased. This data is isolated and will not be used for any operational purposes.

For security, we will need to verify your identity by asking for information associated with your account before proceeding with the deletion.
